i think it would render faster if you use self illuminated objects instead of real lights?

A little trick i use in big office visuals like this, is not to rely on the windows to get light in the space but to fake it makes more sense... rather than lots of little lights @ 600x600 use big lights that span the spaces between the columns ...... Like .........
