Hey there, this is my new project.
There are still LOTS of things to do, i know. Working on it for 6hours now (inclusive the modelling of the guitars and the piano).
    C&C is welcome.

    Nice rendering.
Maybe the composition, arrangement of the objects, camera angle...such things, need more experiment. Just my two cents.

yeah of course. 5 of 6 hours i spent for this project has been used for modelling yet. the lighting, the texturing etc. will ne some refinings. they'll come - i promise.

      for the pryings:
1 vray light, 1 direct spot.
modelling methods: loft, lathe, splinextrusion and boxmodelling.
plant with xfrog, curtain with nurbs. papers thrown with reactor.

Try to change one of the guitars, for example, like the one that appears in the cover of dire straits "brothers in arms". That guitar is a strong challenge . Or the James Heitfield guitar

            Nice job Yage..

Do you think the size of the piano is a bit out of proportion compared to the guitar...? At first look the piano seemed a bit smaller than it should be for a baby grand piano.... but then at second glimpse the guitars made me feel that they were bigger... check if the proportions are right...

Otherwise it seems like it coming along...

yeah, it´s because of the FOV, that the piano seems to be that small. i'll gonna set a cameracorrection. the piano is about twice the size of the guitars. should be okay, i think.

                  some color changing

the missing details will be added tonight or tomorrow.
which one do you like most?

ah well, there are some minor mistakes in the image above. but my question concerns only to the colors.

IMHO, the camera angle of the first image is much better. I don't really like the walls in the second but I think It's just the color. Is that some sort of sound dampening material? Looks too much like paper towels though. Overall I like it allot and I agree with all the other comments. Have fun modeling tat steal guitar, it shouldn't be too hard to start from what you have already. I think the steal will really add to the scene.

                    Keep it up

For me, is much better the first image.
                      The viewpoint is more natural.

Like the first one, hehe. Maybe think about making the arrangement of objects more random and llivelier. A image also needs an obvious focal point.
