    hi guys,

in the image you can see some kinda 'book-/mag-holders'.
maybe someone got these @ home too.
well i'm still trying to get a better material, it renders way too long.
    i'll post the settings soon.
    c&c are welcome.

looks very nice. if you posted the scene youd get people who could play with the settings and improve things. Are you using interpolation? Ive found that interpolated refraction glossy is a little more useable then interpolated reflective glossies.

The result looks nice to me. What render time did you get?

Percy, can you explain what do you mean by "more useable"?

meaning I dont think using interpolation with reflective glossies is very useable. it looks like crap, especially for creating highlights unless you really have high settings. Ive found using interpolation for refraction is a little more forgiving. Though I rarely use interpolation period.

Very nice image. I love the colour tone of it. But is an hour really that bad? It doesnt seem like its WAY over the top. You got a lots of glossy refraction going on in there. Maybe im wrong, but it seems reasonable enough.
                Good work.
