So this is the next one I'm working on. Hopefully I'll have better luck with daylight this time

I'm not exactly sure what is causing the noise at the bottom. Should I raise the subdiv. on the vray light i have at the top? Right now its at 15.

Also, I'm going to have to put plants & trees in the 2 areas by the stairs. I will probably end up comp'ing them in photoshop, but have also thought about getting a plants plugin like speedtree or something. For those that have used any of those, what would you recommend for quality, ease of use, & speed?

    Thanks!

Nope, modeled in autocad. The lines are just from the vray toon effect.

Here's an update. The end result will be mixed with some of the existing elements since this is only a remodel.

I haven't decided what to do with the offices yet. Not sure if it would look better to have them all lit up, or keep them darker inside.

Well that depends on whether the latest 1.45 build is available for Viz 4. If 1.45 works with Viz 4 then you will be able to use the vray toon.

So, to answer your question, I don't know!

Oh, I thought you meant Viz 4. If you are using version 5, then you mean Viz 2005? In that case, you will definitely be able to use the vray toon.

You just have to download the latest beta version 1.45. Lots of other cool stuff in that version to play with too.

hello again sorry for the million questions but i downloaded and installed the 1.45 beta and i just tried to create the toon material. The only vray mats i can find are vRay Mat , vRay LIte mat, and vray mtrl wrapper.
                            Is this correct?

                            Thanks again!

Yea you were looking in the wrong place. Its actually an option in the environment tab. Here's a tutorial Natty put together a while back. Hope this helps
