    Hi, i have made a cup with coffee in it, bur i don´t know how to do a nice coffe? can somebody give me some tips or show me how u have done it? i´m using vray as render

    first u must fine your modeling.
    second move this jpeg from the surface put some vray met.
    good luck.

        Hi jawee

        your model is very faceted... and doesnt ahve enough poly's ...
        i would imagine this is what your mesh looks like...
        and the same with the saucer.
        your wood mat is very bad ... look on the net for a high res one or i can send you one.. your shadow's are too dark and sharp also ....

            nope sorry ... never had the need to make it .. bye using hdri as reflections will help.

                    Hi ...

                    First of all you need to get rid of raytrace max mats.... first rule of thumb.
                    Secondary ... get rid of all those omni's ...
                    you can light this scene very effectively with an HDRI Map ... the Kitchen one would be perfect.. !... please use a good quality wood texture for you table.. and dont forget to use glossy's for this !

                    ok ....a rough coffee mat...

                    not perfect but hey ...thats down to you..

                      perfect image for coffee with cream, but I dont like cream in my coffee...

                        Natty great image well lighted good materials except for the cream maybe is too reflective the cream is not reflective here in my country
