Hi, this work has already been sent to my client but I would like to hear some critics.
I had to use target spots with map shadows because the rendertime was too long. this one, at 1024x768, took 1hr in preset medium. No photons were used.

    Thanks!
    Guido.

Crits: Why have shelves if the instruments are mounted to the walls?
Speakers come across a little flat..
lightingwise looks fine, mabye a little flat due to lack of contrasting materials in the space? but thats more design i think then rendering..
I personally don't like the glows on the recessed cieling lights, but thats mabye just me..
lastly the guys on the back wall.. might look a little wierd from inside the rooms seeing only legs?

    overall looks good

    Cheers,
    Dave Buchhofer. // Vsaiwrk

Yeah, the design sucks (it's not mine offcourse )

But it's my first interior and wanted to know how to improve it.

      Thanks man!!

Use some blurry reflections on the glass, too. While they add to the rendertime, they also help realism immensly.

          I like it a lot.

How you made that "sparkling glow" on the lights?..was it done with Phostoshop?...if so , how?

Jbond: yes, i tried with an image on reflection/refraction slot without good results. I was goin' to place an image on a plane in front of the glass and on the back of the camera, but I had 2 days to do this and couldn't try.

Jedisalf: it's made in PS with the filter "lens flare". It's a little strambotic, but architects usually like that, so...

            Thanks for your crits!
