I think you have a very good grasp of vray already. My only comment would be: is the surround on the glass, metal or painted grey? The glass looks excellent by the way.
It looks to me that you are coming very close to the look you were getting with radiosty. Which is a good thing, in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the hard, overly bright renders that alot of people seem to be trying to do these days. I prefer you style much more.
Tony - the mullion is gray. Looks like it's got some GI artifacts. The only photoshop work I did was to add the watermark and fix some floating furniture.
The image has an excellent dynamic range. I like it very much. This is not Vray; it is Frances using Vray. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to

Very nice Fran. One thing I find a bit distracting is the sunny spot in the front. It takes much attention. If I cover it with my hand, the picture looks better

I disagree. i think the sun spot is one of the reasons its so realistic. Face it, the sun does that. Now if you dont want it there for various reasons, then itll look fine without it, but I still think it should stay.
