I'am also a fR user ...my questions is because I've found that fR works in the most part of the cases faster for interior r than Vray, on the other hand Vray is faster with exteriors.

When I use sketchup for modeling the geometry looks right in 3ds..with fR I don't have any problem, but when I try with Vray and with multi-materials the rendering shows holes and weirs shadows.

Is anybody here has the same problem or at least you Mario?

                  Thanks!!!

hmmm....that's interesting....some of the designers here are starting to use sketchUp for their rough designs......haven't yet have to import that into max/vray but if you had issues, it's a bad sign.......I guess I'll have to give it a try...

I was a fr user....I loved fr because it was the first gi plugin with a cheap price.....but fr still has artifact problems but above all is is very very very very slow with reflection materials (even with a simple glass). With semi glossy materials it is impossible to render in a decent time.

                          bye
