Didn't bother looking for reference images, decided to give it my own look. Not very accurate though. hehe

Would it be some sort of political statement? If it is that would make it an even better image... It has some kind of nostalgia for a world where there was no atomic bomb at all...

remember, the sign would have been new at the time of this "photo"...whereas yours shows years of weather exposure

and the sign is typical of what you would have seen in the 50s...after the bomb was a reality and threat to public safety

I originally had a much cleaner sign, but I thought it looked strange. Maybe I just need to bite the bullet and make it clean regardless how it looks.

I'd say leave it dirty but mayby turn it to catch the light almost like the crate lid. I live in somewhat of a desert and things get dirty very quick around here. Nice job, very spooky too.

thanks I was trying for dirty/dusty without looking old. I guess its debatable if its worked. The ground and background elements were stitched together in photoshop. all else is cg.

color version before color/contrast adjustments and grain:

                          Heya Percy,

                          Nice work.

That box lid seems to be getting more light that it should. Compared to the rest of the scene. Apart from that....very nice
