hi all,
this is my first forum-post picture and this is my first serious job using vray (1.09.03r )
the position of the camera and the lighting is demanded by client.
I dont know if the picture with IRmap can help to solve my problem but anyway: how can I avoid those blury noise in the picture? this picture is 700x1120px and i temporarily replaced all my materials by white (or grey) plastic to see the GI.
- all window frames, sunlight shaders, lifts will have brushed-metal material. But when I tried to render the IRmap and the final picture with that metal applied it took over 4 hours on my 2x2.0 Xeon and the metal was totaly grainy. ( with adaptive AA set to min -1 and max 0, and metal material subdiv: 3 and depth of refl: 1 - as you can see on picture 3). next problem is
that client wants the final picture of 3500x5600px !!
(I know the colormapping should be better but that's not what I would like to solve now.)
Do you have any suggestions how to decrease that terrible rendering time?
thanks a lot
and sorry for my poor english
