The project
The property gives onto a private beach on the Pacific Coast. The house has been designed for seaside life and the enjoyment of the extraordinary natural surroundings. The climate is mainly hot and humid, with heavy rains in the summers months and part of the fall, and a dry, mild winter.
The rules of the sub-development required a house in a traditional style, including the use of the stone and natural colors, and palm leaf and/or shingles for the roof. The plan of the house emerges from a single surface, folded back on itself to define and private space.
The common spaces is a large living room surrounded by a solid mass that houses the services (kitchen, storm celars, bathrooms, etc.). The private areas are upstairs: five almost identical bedrooms with the three different bathrooms.
