im working on this image, its just something im using for lighting practice, and working with the program. any comments are greatly appreciated.
i would even like to animate this room completely. once i can get an understanding of a few other things about vray. one question i have about animating the room is this, since the ir map is calculated per camera view, im assuming that if i wanted to to do a 500 frame animation for this room, that it would have to calculate the irmap for all 500 frames. Is this correct? i was reading something about add incremental ir map or something like that. can anyone shed some light on this particular topic as well.

    and again
    thanks in advance

    Hey !
good start ! but i think you should desaturate more your material, check also the scales of few elements...

but for animation, it should me enough if you render your IR every 50 frames or even more ( depending of the scope of space you describe with your camera movement indeed...) , with check "incremental add to current map" option...and then save the Ir at the end !

Also, that's is pretty obvious that you scale up the height of the max teapot...
But, i mean "why not" !!

Are you also using standard material for your wood... use vray glossy , it's more realistic...

    show us your final animation

I sure will show that final animation!
I plan on adding quite a bit more to this scene and then animate it!
