Looking great man, I really like the grass and stone letters. Sun flare is cool too. I hope the roof is a part that is not finished yet,

It's not coming up. Do I need to install Java Runtime Environment?

@sketch : no this applet is called ptviewer.

@RErender : yes the roof has some problems and need more work. But for now I m trying to get a more realtic grass with some leafs, litle flowers etc...

@jujubee : hmmm.... I dont know exactly what is needed to run the applet but yes : try to download and install the java runtime from SUN's website.
          What is your OS?

whoa that thing is awesome!! i've learned how to do those sort of things with the quicktime VR thing but i dont have the money to buy the programs to actually publish it, i've only worked with demos.

N6. A lack of the JRE was the issue. I didn't want to install the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) because I was always afraid something like this would happen to one of my clients. I'd have a disclaimer that says "This pages requires Sun's Java Runtime Environment in Order to View."

The JRE can be found here:

                Wow brilliant

I showed a coworker and he asked me to zoom in to see the camera man in the window

So is there some sort of automatic exposure going on when we look at the sky behind us? If so, that's the most amazing thing. It's like our irises readjusting. I'd imagine the file size would explode but do you plan to use high res images for the zoom?

yes size is a problem for online use even if fjpg (floating point) can compress.

I have just figure that this first panorama wasn't sorting properly the liminance value

I m rendering an other one that would be correct and will post it soon.

PT Viewer is great. After a long search i've came to the conclusion that it's the easiest way to show a panorama on the web without having to install any plugin, apart from the Java Runtime Environment. Most people have java installed already, and if they don't they should.

I've also found a great piece of software to produce panoramic views from photos:

                    http://www.panoramafactory.com/

It exports panoramas in PT viewer format, QTVR, .jpg, etc...
