My Nissan 350z.....1 day will be mine.....

I have a problem....Reflection object is simle plane above car, but I don't want, that the plane cast shadows. In object properities I uncheck cast, receive shadows, visible to camera, in Vray object properities I uncheck cost receive GI...But plane still cast shadows!!!!! How I could fix it?? Another problem..I need simple floor like plane, enw simple poly sphere but around all car(i want reflect only hdr maped on sphere not ground plane) and lighting simple gi with car and ground. I choose a Vray hdr map to diffuse slot for sphere enw object, but scene is black...Sphere has unchecked the same parameters as plane...Where is problem??Thanks a lot. This is my latest update of my nissan 350z. Ground is too dark becouse reflecting plane is still cast shadows !@#*@$@$....
    Thanks BC.

    nice model

Firstly I would get rid of the reflecting plane and either

1 Light the scene using HDRI with an outdoor or studio map

    or

2 replace the reflecting plane with one or two rectangular vray lights, this will bring the hightlights right up and wont cast shadows, except under the care of course.

Also you need to take some of the glossiness off your material its too blurry. There are many awesome car materials available, one of them being egz carpaint.

Need to put some reflection on the headlight casing

its amazing how much that looks like a porshe 911
