I think the room is pretty well illuminated except for that blown out area in the upper back corner. Materials on the other hand could use a good overhaul. Right now they all look like they are made of a similar material. I could see everything being pretty clean except for that surfboard (nice dirty speculars from the wax). I would imagine that the plastics and painted metals would have some bright speculars on them at some angle or another. Even the desks flat surface would have some indication of a reflection.
Maybe consider lighting the right with an VRayLight representing that monitor. If you think about it, it's really kinda great that you have that as a light source but it's turned away from the camera. It could really add some mood to the scene.
The furniture is good but too many hard edges right now. Look at how smooth the headboard is around the rim but the footboard isn't the same. The side table looks like it has no thickness to the legs. The desk legs are extremely faceted. The door meats the ground too perfectly. Next time you're in a house with that type of sealing take a look at how staggered the boards will usually be and a little warped here ant there so that the ends poke out.
Keep going, it definitely looks like a surfers room.
