      Yep !
really material for the floor and the plinth !! but the wood of the cupboard on the left is not so nice...maybe the scale is strange???
Is that a remake of ToyStory ??
I advice you to put some glow on in the back...later i presume !!
cool...waiting for the final shot !

thanks. its no compositing. Everything is rendered geometry. lot of the detail was made using the new cameramap in max7 I love it! buro with the strange woodtexture is a swedish clasic. called "Kulan" the texture realy looks like this. It´s a photo of it. But maby I have to reconsider it, It´s moore importent to be beliveble than to be true

oh. The litle part of the far room is a foto.

            hey,
you are using the new map "camera per pixel" ?? yes it's great you do not have to subdivide your geometry...cool

Wow. Fun images. That feature seems nifty. Got a couple questions about your kungfu:

                1) I dont understand their help files when it comes to 'plates' being over 2k. Are they talking about image res?

                2) Also, you can only effectively render from that camera angle. If you shift the camera you lose the effect. So can this somehow be baked onto a preexisting texture?

                3) The major benefit I see with this is the ability to quickly generate proper shadowing on objects you have painted. In my mind it's essentially a 'quick mask' effected by lighting. Does this work well with Vray GI/Indirect Illumination?

                  I guss they do.

not sure. but you can allways link the camera to the maped object if the object is going to move. and use a nother cam if your going to animate it.

I don´t know But I gues there cu´d be some obstacles

I´m only using it as a way to map geometry fast and quite detail´d It´s verry OK as I´m not animating the cam to much.

Well I've read some article about it, though I've never used this. So I can confirm roppin's answer to q 2 : you must use another camera. And it should work ok with GI, but for example, if one of the pieces of furniture here is camera-mapped together with the wall, you must disable it from dropping any shadows, since those are already there. Unless you're adding light sources.

Nop, Sorry Jon, the article was in a magazine. But i'm shure there must be quite some tutorials on it on the net, since the feature has been available for quite a time in lightwave. And actually i'm really not shure it's new to 3ds 7. Hasn't it been around for some time?
