          5 sided polies dont matter to much when making non organic objects and are sometimes necessary when you dont want to add more detail across a round surface (it all gets turned into quads after mesh smooth anyhow) . Now if this was a character, or if there was visible creases in the shaded view thats another story.

          Looks great man, i cant belive you modeled the cross hatching stuff.

                          now this is a great example of when its not good to use that kind of modeling. Not only do you have 5 sidded polies, you also have no edge loops.

                            lordshaitan it matters 5 sides and 3 sides on non planar surfaces they make errors becase are not correct for topology of course when you use sub-d they get all quads but they they still not have a flow to solve the way also if you use isoline mode they are still more sides a lot of people says ngongs are not bad for organic but it depeds on the quality of the artist if he wants ''perfection'' or just make a hurry model
