  • short time works #3 : exteriors for 12 hours

    hi
    this is another fast work.
    the architecture is not my design. because modelling took long- data from designer was like puzzle...
    so modelling the building took long time.
    modelling+lighting+texturing was about 12hours for all 3 views.
    I made light tweakings for each view.
    rendering was about 2-3hours for each image at 1600x1200, 1800x990 & 1600x1000 resolution.
    all crits on cg work are welcome

      Do you can give us some indications about the lightning method and the compositing of render and environment?

          Firstly i think they are amazing and i just have one little nit picky thing.

          In the second rendering you can see that the stone brick walls at the bottom aren't a full coarse of brick. It looks like about 4 inches up above the patio stones and then the next coarse starts.

          But seriously...thats it....great work.

              thanks a lot for the replies

              the tree is on the right side is part of the background image.
              my background is a jpeg photo set in the environment slot.
              I have no special compositing made: I only try to use vertical elements such as wall where ground plane meets environment... so the meeting point is hidden behind a 3d element.

              lighting is one direct light for the sun-multiplier:3-4 (slight changes in different angles) and color light yellow-orange
              and the environment light with multiplier of 1 (light blue)

              dellis: u r right thanx I know I must work on uwv more... when in hurry that is the first thing I sacrifice

                Very good work, i like the ambience of the images, very good and very short time!! think you always are in a hurry! but always come out with great images!!

                little thing you must have notice already, in second image tile in terrace is wrong placed.
