    Hi everyone,

    My name is Maxime Caron, I'm Supervisor at Supamonks Studio.

        Thank you very much !

        It has been a really challenging project in which we have used a lot different techinques and softwares.
        For the smoke and clouds, in the space battle sequence we mainly used 3DSmax.
        For the clouds we added a lot of stock-shots to enhance it cause we didn't want to spend to much time simulating and rendering it.

        Part of the volumetric effects were directly rendered in 3Ds but we prefer to export VDB and use vray volume grid to render a maximum of elements in the same render/software.
        It is not always possible to use VDBs so for this specific project we used a lot of compositing tricks to get rid of antialising edges due to differents renderer or software and smooth.
