It looks like you have it started nicely. You know of snowflow plug in for max?

also there are some really good collections of snow covered evergreens on turbosquid.

BTW, forget the snowflake "lite" It's so slow it's useless, unless you just have a teapot to cover with snow.

Oleg Budeanu did a pack with snowy pines recently, not tried yet though

Usually we do our snow covering with little details and the realism is achieved with the material more than the geometry (I know it's sbetter to work on both, but geometry has to be redone everytime while the material is reusable ad infinitum)

Snowflow is ok for putting snow on roofs, railings, etc. pretty hard to do on pine trees....but possible. The material it comes with is not so great and you may prefer to make your own material.

            Thanks for advising my pack
Actually i've finished it and hopefully soon it will be released. I've re-done them from scratch, using a bit different logic and now they look much better and more realistic.
Hopefully soon will announce the pack, just making some final preparations.

Would love to give it a try on my scene,
Could I send you the model or be part of the beta program?

              Cheers

Thanks for the interest, but hopefully this week models will be available to buy/download. You will be able to buy whole pack or separate trees of needed height. I will update when this will happen.
There is no beta program just because these are simple models - it's not a plugin or a script

Ah right, I thought it was a script that would some way convert the whole scene to a snowy scene
Would you be able to keep us informed of the progress in this page please? Would hate to miss it.

                  Thanks
