    Really nice
I liked the mood and the texturing work
could you pls shed more light on the floor material?
    is it just one map?

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : ))

      Thanks!

Originally I setup a quick blend but wanted to refine it further so I pulled the maps I was using into Photoshop and created a custom diffuse (which I reused with some adjustment in the reflect and gloss channels) and displacement.

it seems that behind the wooden planks there isn't any object and the light is coming from behind. Am I correct? Anyway it's strange to see that light coming from behind.

Yeah, I was matching a reference...took me a while to figure out what I was looking at . It's railroad ties that have spacers between the ties and then lite from behind.

I suggest you to leave the space between the planks...in the real life, those planks will be fixed on furniture structure...so for you it will be enough to make a plane behind them.
