I tried RT in hybrid mode. A simple test was awesome, however, with a real scene it choked. It baked for a couple hours and is noisy with all these little boxes I had to paint out.

So these images are RT GPU + CPU? And you're saying you would normally use RT GPU only mode? Or do you normally use ADV Progressive?. The images look fantastic, by the way. Is the wing wall on the right side of the fridge not supposed to connect with the ceiling?

I usually use progressive. I questioned that wall too, but it is correct.

What's the difference between the Progressive and RT GPU in terms of quality and render times?
There are some white white boxes indeed, this might be a bug so a scene for investigation would be very useful.
