    Hi guys,
just started to use camera raw so I'm sure I overdid it. Also, is there a way that when I open my exr in camera raw it remains the same?
Would like to hear your thoughts on this since I'm still playing with it.
    Thanks.

I use camera RAW on every project, however, I do it in 8bit mode. PS's camera raw chokes with anything higher.

I use it on 16 bit tiffs every day without issue?

I guess it works on anything but 32bit.

The sky is a little too dark I think. It feels a bit strange. Especcialy around the leaves; looks like you photoshopped them in.

I use RAW with png saved at 48bit and it works great.

Tried saving as 48 bit png but PS opens it as 16 bit.

A 48 bit PNG has 16 bits per channel (Red, Green and Blue) 3*16 =48

Don't think that's the case. When I save exr PS opens it as 32 and I have depth in my burned areas. With 48bit png burned areas go to grey.

PNG is a low dynamic range file format. The 8 &16 bits per channel modes in Photoshop have low dynamic range (LDR). Such images store color values as discrete steps from 0 to 255 (8-bit) or 0 to 65535 (16-bit). The maximum values represent white (1.0). LDR images can not store values above 1.0. Only the 32-bit per channel mode in Photoshop uses floating point numbers to store high dynamic range data (file formats: EXR, 32-bit PSDs, HDR...).

Oh, sorry, I see what you mean now. Is there any way to make camera raw open 32bit exr in PS and not change it? It seams like it flattens it, and it's not gamma related.

Nice work I liked what u did for the environment
For camera raw I use it with tiff 16 bit and it works great
camera raw with 32 bit auto apply some tome-mapping by default ..there was an option to avoid that by changing camera calibration t some thing older under procces option but it seems that it is not working anymore

But how do you guys use 16bit, I mean I usually have burned areas and 16bit just doesn't have data there
