  • Golf Course restraunt

This a restraunt I'm working on for a high class country club but they want to use fairly simple tables and chairs. They call this the casual dinning room on the 9th hole.

The room is fairly dark due to the colors they chose for the room. I'll do a render of the glass wall, out of camera as well. They are looking for late evening scene, dusk, for the window shot.

    As always, comments are welcome.

looks good man. That far green wall looks a little soft to me though. Would look killer if it had some very subtle glossy reflections. Unless its supposed to be like velvet or something.

Yea,I agree but the wall is covered with a fabric. Maybe a little falloff in the diffuse slot would help?

Something I didn't notice until I posted the image is that the salad oil bottles look like their glowing. I 'm getting old, I can't believe I missed that. I'll fix that for the next one.

ahh fabric, that kinda what I meant by velvet or something. I wouldn't change it much, maybe like you said a slight falloff in the diffuse.

really nice image with lots of details on the tables and those reflections on the table base are great

I was wondering about the bottles...are they all modelled and textured? I bet that would have taken ages.

The only comment I would have is that parts of the image are a touch too saturated...but this is more down to the choice of materials

Thanks Fran. Hows that beautiful baby doing?

Paul, the liquor bottles are models I found at buycreative.com. They are low poly 3d but from a distance they look alright and were cheap.

The client chose all the materials in the scene. It is very, very green. I had to really crank up the light settings to get any light into the room at all. It's was quite different from lighting a room with all white walls.
