  • Kitchen project in Trinidad

    Hello!
One of our client in the islands sent us some reference images along with their kitchen specs to model their dream kitchen. Any ideas on how I can make this model pop?

Hm not sure what setting you're using but this is what helped my renders alot. Stopped using reinhard and swithced to linear colour mapping. Correct exposure so you leave the sun areas overexposed a bit and then grade everything with CameraRaw in PS. Also second one is better because it feels more that the most of the light is coming through window. I feel the scene is too professionally light, like a studio.

It is a really nice model so this should work.

            nice job !
I'm not a fan of the interior design but it's another debate !
anyway, more dof and it will be nice
            Well done
            (Sorry for my bad english)

              Got it!

Thats the look the customer going for. I will continue to work it with some DOF.

              Thanks!
              Thank you,

These look great now! Is the curtain material a combo of 2sided mat and matte refraction? I really like those.
And for lighting you say you used light portals, did you put vraysky in environment then or? The renders look really clean.

                      Thanks!
As for the lighting I use the light portals, vray-sun light along with vraysky in the environment. Thanks to you. Your feedback pushed me to go that route. I will forward you the curtain mat soon.
                      Thank you,
                      Garth

did you consider turning on some of the lights?

Actually, I did think about it. But for now, we would like to keep it bright and sunning like the islands.

                            Thank you!!!
