I have struggled all day with this one. I am trying to use V-Ray Next Beta2, but things just seem to be different on the lighting front. I had to turn off the V-Ray Sun because I couldn't lower it enough not to blow everything out.

your work is really good bobby & it always inspire me but this one looks so basic. Sorry.. it could be only me but i feel lighting , dark foliage, colour balance everything is going out of sync..

For me it is not that bad to be honest ..maybe a bit of color balance in PS can help ..I know the struggle of testing new software in real projects ..things can going out of hand quickly .

Okay, I went old school. The new AutoExposure wasn't working for me. Even V-Ray Sky/Sun was 10X too bright and everything was washed out.

Thanks! The second one is an HDRI at a multiplier of 30 and sunset to a multiplier of 1. My camera is using a real work setting (I forget the exact setting off hand). I'll give the Autoexposure another try later.

the update is for sure more eye pleasing and for archviz works better .
I did tried auto exposure once but I don't remember having any issue with it ...if you have a weird issue with the file you can send it to Vlado and that will save us for the struggle in the future if we counter it =D

Second image is much better. In scene like this autoexposure should work. When strong light is infront of camera, autoexposure try to compensate it and whole image is too dark. But this is not that case.
