What kind of setup for storing projects and assets? Workstation, NAS, dedicated file server?

Thnx Morne. Good to know. Heard yesterday that I could test the set up as someone I know has 2 synology's that aren't being used. Hopefully they have decent network speeds to get a good idea whether its worthwhile. Now to find the time to test.

My entire company uses BOX and their sync software to run very large jobs. So there is little need to have a large amount of storage locally.
All the jobs are in the cloud and we all work with our own copy of the work drive. We only sync the parts we actually need onto faster local drives instead of a slower NAS.

Surprisingly it works and we are doing massive civil projects.
