  • Cheaper 2X2080ti dual fan or go for the 2X triple fan expensive ones?

Hi guys i just about to order my new pc and and i notice a sale in the shop for a dual fan 2080 TI and i wonder if i should take it over the triple fan design for my SLI setup and save 250$

my initial thought was to get
    2 X GeForce PNY RTX2080Ti XLR8 OC Triple Fan https://www.pny.com/RTX-2080-Ti-Over...d-XLR8-Edition

    or 2 X GeForce RTX2080Ti WINDFORCE OC https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Ca...TWF3OC-11GC#kf

with AORUS NVLINKâ„¢ BRIDGE 4-Slot. both cost 2750$ in my country
on the other hand the 2 units of dual fan GALAX RTX2080Ti Dual Black or zotac dual fan will cost me 2500$ http://www.galax.com/en/graphics-car...ti-1click.html

sould i save 250$ and go for the GALAX dual fan?
or go with the triple fan design?

i know some said it is better get a blower fan for sli
but the 2X blower will cost 2850$ ( 350$ more than the cheapest 2080ti option.. no joke )... no backplate, low factory OC
and with my personal experience right now with 2 gigabyte 1080 ti windforce oc triple fan i am getting good temps and good auto oc and everything rock stable... so i dont see any logic go with the cheap built quality of the asus blower turbo etc and also paying extra.

Well, I can test smth a bit later. But for now - my 2080ti is exact pny. The cooling is 14degrees above msi duke, with its 2.2 slots. And you can't lower the temp. I had big fan pointed to open case and it was loud... But, that is true only for kombustor4 burner. So any two slot is hot. 76 vs 63 (the loswest I had was 71, but very loud). Tho I still not sure how is that possible. I asked pny support - they saisd 'until ur pc is not freezing - the kombustor4 temp you showed us is normal'.

Dual setup - it is like +10 to the top card minimum. So lower the clock to about 1.3 and that will be quite stable and noise free.

I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

thanks paul... interesting i saw a 2.5 model of the gigabyte for the about the same price... https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Ca...ING-OC-11GC#kf
so i better take the 2.5 slots card for the nvlink setup over the 2 slots windforce cooler i dont think i will add a 3 card in the near future
