Howdy,
i had a 3TB HD fail that is used for internal storage on my workstation- using RAID 1
I have sourced identical repalcement HD and ready to pop it into the pc.
i'm using intel rapid storage software to manage the raid,
Anyone here able to advise as to what i should do , do i need to format? do anyting in BIOS etc , is there a risk that when rebuilding the RAID that it mirrors the new dirved onto the remaining good one (that has files) and effectively wipe it clean?
never done this before and tryign to avoid a major disaster?
any advice woudl be great - thanks
