Advice on QHD curved monitor

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my monitors. Currently using 3 different generations of the Dell UltraSharp. Although they are great monitors, having 3 different generations leads to colour inconsistencies across them.

So I am looking to replace them with a single ultra wide QHD monitor with IPS panel. I’ve narrowed it down between two choices, unless someone can suggest an alternative.

Having never used such a wide monitor before I wondered if anyone here has one and what their experience is like using them for 3D software, video editing etc?

Also for things that aren’t necessarily scalable to the ultra wide size such as web browsing, MS office, emails etc.

not to sure about the new monitors, but from my experience. even if you bought new same generation monitors and plugged them in at the exact same time. the color consistency would not be the same. even with color calibration devices, each monitor will shift differently. a single ultra wide might help in this situation due to the uniform single LED panel. but not sure.

Yeah I get that. Consistent colour is not the only reason though. Also having bezels in the way can be rather annoying. Any how took the plunge and went for the LG monitor.
