yeah so incase anyone tries this, make sure the heights of the multiple cards are the same otherwise nvlink isnt going to connect, unless anyone knows otherwise?Comment

autsch... ok, I think I was lucky then .. I took the first card I could get as the second card ... I would believe height is the same everywhere

Different cards will have different heights, except the ones that use the FE PCB (very rare on the newer beafy cards)Originally posted by haniel1107 View Post

yeah i could had got an identical card but chickened out at last minute because the other bidder was clearly buying for mining, so instead I got another and had this problem...why they dont make flexible cable versions when they know most cards are different heights is a bit annoying//. I mean the gigabyte 2080ti and the gigabyte windforce version are different height for crying out loud

never opened such a bridge, don‘t know, if this is only a one to one cable connection or if there is a chip in between…

don‘t know if this is something usable or not..
maybe you can easily open your bridge and see if it could work without the box.. just a helpless idea…
