AMD GPU - incompatible?

Does Vray work on anything except NVIDIA GPUs? I have an AMD Radeon R9 390 and Vray says "no discoverable CUDA or RTX device". The GPU has current drivers and runs fine for all other video, etc tasks outside of Vray. I'm feeling a bit burned by this since maybe I didn't do enough homework and now I basically have a fancy, stupid-expensive pair of red fans in my computer. Is there some work-around to get this GPU to work?

Vray v5.10.20, Revit 2021, Win 10 x64

That is correct, Vray only works on Nvidia cards.
