  • A6000 Utilization

I'm only seeing 23-40% GPU utilization. Scene is small with one small low-res texture. Max 2022 with updates, latest GeForce driver.
If I change to CUDA, I get around the same render times and utilization. Seems like it should be higher when processing the buckets.

    Specs:
AMD Threadripper Pro 3975WX 32 core
    64 GB RAM
    NVIDIA A6000 48GB

Hey luz_rodriguez and welcome to the forums,

How many render elements do you have in your scene?
Swap to progressive image sampler, it is currently the recommended way to use V-Ray GPU. Also try to use the least amount of render elements, you will see a much higher usage this way
It also depends on your scene, if you have black areas with nothing to render for example.
We are working on improving bucket mode at the moment, to increase the GPU usage in a few cases. We are aware of this behavior

Feel free to upload a scene for me if possible. I can test on my side.

    Best,

I'll try it on an interior scene with your recommendations. Thanks.
