  • Macbook pro M1

    Hello all !

I have a quite powerful pc but will update my laptop soon.

I have a Lenovo y540 with 16 gig ram and a rtx 2060 now and wondering how well the macbook pro m1 will work in comparasion with my Lenovo.

The Lenovo still works and iam ok with the same performance.

    Thanks in advance !

If you want to use the GPU engine or if you are a gamer then choose a Windows PC. Other then this a 16” MBP is a very good machine, Vray should render twice as fast compared to your laptop and virtually noise free. If you are not in a hurry and you want an Apple laptop then wait a couple months for the M2 version, it shouldn’t be much faster than the M1 but since it’s near the corner it would worth the wait.
Of course all of that if you are using native MacOS softwares, if you are on Max for example is out of question.
