  • Background Plates render black

I have a plane object outside the window with an image mapped for a quick background. The object does not cast/receive shadows so that it doesn't block the environment light going into the space.

It appears to work fine with the CPU version.

VRayRT GPU works great on GTX480/Quadro4500. The Quadro is a much older card and the performance reflects that.

Can you get me the scene to vlado@chaosgroup.com, or at least a part of it? I'm not sure if the problem is the shadow casting/receiving or something else.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

It has to do with cast/receiving, if I remember my test properly. I am packing up a stripped down scene now.

Nope, I wish it was that easy. I have sent Vlado a file to take a look at.
