  • 12562 It does something but not on my GPU

I installed vrayrt_adv_19001_max2010_x64_12562 and activated the activeshade, chose RT 1.90.01. It seems to work but i cannot use it on the GPU, it stays on the cpu mode. I have a 8800 GTS 512 with drivers 258.96 installed. Any idea whats wrong?? Iam using Max 2010 x64 and i havent installed RT CPU.

    cheers

Well i finally was able to Select OpenCL (single Kernel) and its working. Seemed my Pc needed a night off Somehow i wonder that when using the GPU version the image looks different then the CPU version. I used a box, a plane and a sunlight. In GPU it turns out as it should be, but in CPU it is very dark.? any idea. and the low priority button for the GPU would be good, cause it lags like hell Cant wait for the final release

        cheers

For the UI lag, please see the tips here: http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/rt10...m#load_balance (where is says Balancing the GPU load).

The sunlight bug in the CPU version is fixed already; uploading the fix now.
