  • different render between RTcpu and RT gpu

    Hi all, I made a small test,but the render between Rtcpu and RTgpu are different.
    can you help me?

    p.s.
    in the file there are vray sun and vray cam, all material are vray standard material.

    Yes, the CPU is wrong

      Vlado, does this mean that the RT/GPU Beta has within it an updated RT/CPU build? ...And if so should folks start using it for RT/CPU even if they aren't using RT/GPU quite yet?

        Yes, the CPU/GPU switch is just an option in the V-Ray RT render settings. You can certainly use it for CPU rendering even if you don't have suitable GPUs.

                Looks to me like u are using blend materials... and GPU simply dont know what to do... I had something similar in my scenes...

                  I'll be adding an option for the next build to print out warnings for elements in the scene that are not supported...
