  • system to catch and manage the bugs like other software developers

vlado... i think it would make sense when you use a webbased software to "catch" and "manage" all the bugs and feature requests..... like this...

    http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/issues/list

    what do you think ?

We already use one internally (http://www.mantisbt.org/) However exposing this for general use would cause us more trouble right now (e.g. finding and fixing duplicates, figuring out which issues are impossible to do, which ones should be done later, and which ones have already been fixed etc).

    Best regard,
    Vlado

Not right now; like I said, it's likely to cause more trouble - we would need to have someone just to sit down and keep it clean. Further on, it includes a significant portion of our road map, which for various reasons, we don't want to share with everyone

        Best regards,

This is quite understandable Vlado, but perhaps a page with a complete list of unsupported features for RT/GPU would save you a little time responding to folks who are trying to do things that are as yet usupported. I know this sort of thing saved GaryY lots of time back in the day...

            Just a thought...

That's great, and I do hope it saves you time in the long run, while empowering users with more knowledge.
