Quadro FX 2800 M

I have a HP 8740w Mobile Workstation (laptop) equipped with the Quadro FX 2800M. The driver is 198.05. Works good.

HP doesn´t have the latest driver 258.96 available on their site. Anybody having experience with installing it anyway? What will I benefit from the 258 compared with the 198 driver?

Talking about drivers, does the NVidia 3DS MAX performance driver support 3ds Max 2011 eventhough it was released 2009 for Max 2010?

have a nvidia quadro 2800M to on my Dell Precision M6500. when i installed the latest driver from the nvidia site i get some graphic-errors and the system is freezed. the error comes after 8-10 hours uptime. now i use the 257.21 without any problems.

you can use the newest driver - my hardware had an error.

dell swapped my notebook and now all works fine with the newest driver
