    You can use even now region rendering in the ActiveShade window. This will be modified to allow you to remove the region and continue to work on the entire image without restarting.

    To enable region rendering, right-click in the ActiveShade window, choose "Draw region", then click and drag to specify a region that you want to render.

      can we get maybe something more.... adjustable than just square? Like... curve or lasso like in photoshop maybe?

        vlado i have testet it... works ok.... but... the region starts again with rendering... say i render 30 minutes... and then the overall image looks ok, i want only the refine a specific region... then i have to rerender the whole region again.... iray ton't do this.... is it possibel to integrate it this....

          Yep, like I said, it will be reworked so that the image does not restart.
