  • Vray CPU & GPU don't render the same

Can't get the GPU to render like the CPU. Anyone have any ideas?
Attached are images that compare the two.

    Shaders are very Basic
GI and Refl/Refr are overwritten with simple HDRI

Graphic card is an FX5600 with Nvidia 259.57 Driver

Did you download the latest build from our site? It will warn you about the most common features that cause differences and will automatically adjust them.

    Best regards,

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Ok, looked around and found the answer I believe.

"GI is on by default in RT GPU. If you are trying to light the scene with an HDRI you need to have it in the environment slot currently, as the overrides in the production renderer don't work. "

And thanks Vlado, I'll download it now. That'll be handy!

Hmm.. still doing some testing and can't quite get all the materials to come out the same. For example the chrome looks the same but the gel doesn't. Am I missing something in the settings?

My guess its the fact that fog isn't supported but from what I've read it will be soon.

"It's coming a bit later this week; support for the fog parameters of VRayMtl"

          Man you guys work hard
