Maybe is something different in there, on computer. Dont know, when I instaled the first build, it makes some errors (as I emailed to you), but its computing around that 3000. Then the new build comes out, 12759 or something, dont remember, I installed it and computing was slow. Dont know, maybe error is in something else, but dont know where. Installed the newest gpu driver, maybe there is something differences. But now its really slow.

I have 2.0, so I have to uninstall it and instal VRay and VRay RT right? I think I can do it, but if will not help, then what?

I found my problem tho, It was transparency material. If I dont tick Affect Shadows it takes ages to render, once its ticked the gpu goes instantly... heh

Its not my problem, I have no transparency in test scene.

I have some new info.

When I lower the Rays per pixel from 16 to 12, GPU usage of both cores is 50 percent for all calculating time (not 30-60) and calculating is around 2000 kpath/s. Its much better. But dont know, why it didnt use whole 100 percent on both cores, I could get maybe 5000. Is it normal, this lower GPU usage? But its better now.

I dont know what it is really but I think its limitation of speed. Basically GPU can either calculate image or send image. Lower pixel means, fast uploads - less GPU speed. Higher pixels mean less uploads - but bigger speed/ chunks of data... on my rig with small chunks I reach 2k pths... with big chunks 10k ptch... at least that much I had few months ago... havent tested it lately..

I install 197.77 for GTX 295 and VRay crash, when I fire up RT GPU. Again Iam really diapointed.

Just an idea... u sure ur scene is not bugged or something? Yesterday I open some scene and vray couldnt even start... maybe its scene issue not engine/driver/cg card

Same here. crash on the earlier drivers.

I think the new drivers are screwed up somehow. The old ones... RT-CPU ran fine. The new ones... RT-CPU has completely different color of all of the scene objects. I still need to test, but something is going on with the drivers.

I have RT CPU fine, colors and everything else. But GPU is slow.

Have you tried another machine/graphics card (just to make sure it's not related to your hardware)?
