  • CL_BUILD_PROGRAM_FAILURE on slave radeon HD 4800...normal ?

    Hi, Chaos team !
I4m playing with VRay RT (1.90.01) in GPU mode.
Work fine on my main station (GTX 460 - twice faster than my I7920-OC@4.0Ghz)
btw thanks for the EVGA precision tip, tried it, and gained 100kpath with little OC. cool !

I try to make a DR render on slave computer, having a Radeon HD 4800 Series.
I just updated the catalyst driver (10.11 with Opencl)

When the slave receive the scene, it tries to build the OpenCL trace progam.
Then fall in error : CL_BUILD_PROGRAM_FAILURE at line 1046 in opencl_main.cpp.

HD4800 series just can't be used with RT GPU, or is there something else ?

Another thing to know : When i switch to CPU mode, the slave starts wut gives a warn : Scene is empty !

Looks like i've some licence problems, or so... ?

Thanks by advance, and congrats for your hard work on RT.

Vlado has stated that although the ATI drivers claim openCL there's still problems to resolve...http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...457#post441457

Hi Jerome, is Solidrocks going to be compatible with Vray RT GPU?

              Hi !
I'll post very soon an upgrade working with Vray 2.0 (working on security right now..)
What do you mean by GPU compatible exactly ?
