Bad viewport performance with ATI 5870 vs Nvidia8800 gtx

Not really a vray question but I thought one of you might know ....

Does anybody know why my viewport performance is lower from a ATI HD 5780 compared to 2 year old gtx.

Latest drivers an everything installed. Same OS same Max.

I didn't see this until today, but I'm quite happy with mine. I'm running Win 7 x64 and have a 460 in tandem for Vray GPU. Did you get it sorted?
