              Hi Sersia!

finally your system works! You added 16Gb of ram or you update the bios to run 8 gpus on your Tyan mb?

Could you prepare a video test using an interior scene (evermotion) for production purpose? I would like to know how many minutes are necessary to complete a 300dpi full interior scene still image without noise and fireflies.

              Thanks!

              best reagrds.

                Hey,

Yes I would love to have that information allso,
I know it's all depending of what you have in your interior but if you could try and let us know what scene you have used it could give us a good understanding.

Like a 4k rendering or so.

I look forward to see rt gpu used in some production envirment eaven if it's not the first purpose

Finally we figured out that our Tyan system had a problem so we've changed the system for the test. The second system is working great.
The main problem was not from the RAM issue but the system need lots of RAM as well. Even we used the lastest bios for Tyan MB it had a same problem with 8 GPUs. I'm guessing the Tyan MB can not take care of 8 GPUs. I don't have evermotion scene files. I am going to make a video with an interior scene when I am ready for the interior scene.

                  Best Regards,

I'll do that. But it will take some time. Thank you.

I used Benchmark interior scene file in this forum. Thank you Vlado.
It is Full HD resolution. You can check elapsed time and KPaths/s with those images. It is on top of the right side image.
4 k resolution was working great but it was much slower than Full HD.

You can check the maximum noise (red mask) with the video. If you can not see the image please try to save as...

60 min of 7 gpus computing and you get all that noise?

That is right. Please try to check that bench mark scene file. You can download it. :_)

It took so long time when I tried to get a similar rendered image with CPUs as well.

I'm sorry, I can't see the pictures, even with the save as option...

I would love to see what you have done, thanks very much!

I'm so sorry. I don't know where I can upload those big size images.
Please check this blog and click the rendered images to see Full HD size image.
If you have any problem with that please let me know I'll send the images to you by e-mail.
