  • GPU Animation

    Hi

Sorry if I have missed a topic on this but I am looking at a Graphics card upgrade and was looking over GPU rendering and wonder can you render animations in the this way?

    Thanks for your help.

eee off top of my head, u set up ur production render as RT, u set up RT to work in GPU mode, then u set up how many patch/or mins to spend one ach frame and hit render...

Thanks DADAL I know how to do that but how do you render a set of frames from an animation or a series of camera angles?

Seems you have to use the max file save, like when you dont use th VFB since the active shade doesnt have an option to output.
              Anybody else?
(hmmm yes actually that doesnt seem to work, mine is greyd out)
Maybe better to ask this question in the RT section of the forum

                I dont get it.

U set ur production render to be Vray RT - Not Vray.

U set ur frames as in production render either, a from to or all or other options.
U go to Vray RT tab. U set up GPU as ur engine. On left under distributed rendering u set up time limit or patch limit per frame so it dont render 1 frame forever.

U specify where to save file.

                Click render. done.
