Do you have any suggestions for a good printer? I have the Canon iPF8300 for large color, but for small prints I'm looking for something good. I have the Epson Stylus 2400, which prints awesome, but it's slower than heck. I also have WIN7 X64, so I need to make sure it works well with my setup; the Epson doesn't.

I've never had problems with HP. Get yourself a good individual color pro version from HP (4 or 6 seperate colors). Downside is that ink is expensive. I have an all in one pro jobby and it works well

The cheap home versions usuallly have those useless tricolor cartridges where if just yellow is finish, you got to throw away the whole thing even though your cyan and magenta is still fine
    Kind Regards,

I'm using a Epson Stylus R2400 with a Lyson coninuous ink system, it's fantastic!

what driver are you using for your Epson Stylus R2400? I can't print to any of our Epson printers, including the R2400, from my WIN 7 X64 machine.

The Lyson CIS replaces the standard ink cartridges with ones that have tubes coming out of them. The tubes connect to bottles that you can fill with ink. This saves you having to replace expensive ink cartridges all the time because the bottles can hold much more ink than a cartridge can. It also saves on wasted ink and lets you do long print runs overnight without the worry of a cartridge running out of ink and killing the run. It can be a bit fiddly to set up, but the amount of money it's saved me has been well worth it. Combined with Lyson paper and a proper custom profile, it really does produce amazing prints.

I use an older version of this CIS - http://www.marrutt.com/continuous-in...nk-system.html

            That's strange! I'm using the latest driver (12335) downloaded here - http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/s...Type=Downloads

I'm also running Win 7 x64 but the printer is connected directly to my workstation via USB, rather than printing over a network. I must have skimmed your first post, I hadn't spotted that you already have an R2400.
