Dual monitor advice

I just added a second 24" monitor (Dell 2412m) to my setup (an existing Dell 2407). I've got it calibrated and setup just fine - loving the extra screen real estate. I'm just wondering if anyone else out there with a dual (or more) setup has any advice on Windows tweaks, max setup or add-ons that will make working with the duals more streamlined: taskbar tweaks, setups, etc, etc. ONe thing I'm not liking with the new setup is that often a dialog box will pop up on the other monitor when I've got an application full screen on one. Any advice or hints welcome.

Ultramon has a lot of options for dual monitor setups. Check it out and see if it addresses some of your issues.

a quick glance at their website shows that they are pretty similar. There are more of these tools available, i do know that actual multiple monitors made max crash on the material editor. I have contacted their support and i think they are trying to reproduce the problem but are not successful in doing so. so it may be just something on my machine.
