  • GPU Cuda stable driver version for linux

    Hi Vlado and all...

Question is very simple. What number/version of driver's should be stable and good for vray RT on GPU Cuda
    (for GTX470, GTX570, GTX590) on linux? ( for Maya2013?)
Now our company upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 LTs to new 12.04LTs.
(some times it Was a nightmare to do a simple graphic card work normally like on 10.04
I know about some version on windows, but what about linux?
Is anybody use GPU (Cuda) rendering on Linux in normal real production life?

    Regards
    Olaf

All the recent ones that we've tested on CentOS were pretty stable. I have no idea about Ubuntu though. The problems with the drivers seem to be more on the X windows/OpenGL side; the CUDA stuff has been pretty stable.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
