Hello,
Just an FYI for the latest stable nightly builds. When using RT in in production mode (I was testing a small simple animation). It renders the first frame out fine and then crashes the video card driver on the next frame every time. I even rolled back a few drivers and same issue appears.
Max Design 2014
(4) Nvidia GTX Titans.
I also tried the "make V-ray animation preview" under the rendering pull down and it just renders the first frame even if I set it to 100. I've always noticed this feature doesn't work even in Max 2013 or I'm probably doing something wrong...does anyone know how to use this feature?
Thanks!
***Update***
I've figured were the problem is coming from It's on some of the materials. I had some mix maps with procedural noise in them, normally RT GPU just doesn't render them and that is fine, however, when you render a sequence with the production render it renders the first frame then crashes the video card drive then V-ray requiring to terminate and re-start the application.
I removed the mix maps with procedural noise and the problem is gone...I hope these procedural map issue gets ironed out before the final SP release.
